– Société de la Tour Eiffel and iXcampus join forces to create the leading european campus for nanotechnology

Société de la Tour Eiffel and iXcampus, operator of technology campuses dedicated to deep tech, announce the launch of iXcampus Paris-Saclay, a flagship project devoted to new materials, nanotechnologies, integrated photonics and quantum technology.

Located on the Saclay plateau, at the heart of a European-scale academic and industrial ecosystem, the campus, comprising offices, business premises and clean rooms, will be located in Société de la Tour Eiffel’s ‘Parc Eiffel Paris-Saclay’ (nearly 39,000 sqm) and will eventually cover 18,000 sqm with a first phase delivered in 2028 to support the growing needs of deep tech players.

A unique ecosystem for the industry of the future

In partnership with academic and scientific stakeholders in the field, iXcampus Paris-Saclay aims to become the European hub for the industrial scaling up of nanotechnologies.

Building on the international network of iXcampus, already present in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (France), Sherbrooke (Canada) and Delft (Netherlands), this new site aims to become the European hub for the industrial scaling up of nanotechnologies. It will offer:

  • Cleanrooms and laboratories meeting the highest industrial standards (anti-vibration flooring, special fluids, sophisticated extraction systems, etc.);
  • A comprehensive infrastructure including energy, special fluids, integrated logistics and 24/7 maintenance;
  • A pilot line and shared equipment for microelectronics, integrated photonics and quantum technology.

Accelerating the industrial-scale deployment of disruptive technologies

iXcampus Paris-Saclay will offer a unique model enabling start-ups, SMEs and manufacturers to scale up without having to make an initial investment, thanks to turnkey technical facilities, shared operating costs and access to a global network of industrial and academic partners.

Located in the heart of the Paris-Saclay cluster, this new campus is part of an integrated vision of sustainable development and economic attractiveness promoted by Société de la Tour Eiffel. It embodies the convergence between innovative real estate and industrial sovereignty.

With iXcampus Paris-Saclay, we are confirming our commitment to developing sustainable and strategic real estate infrastructure for disruptive technologies. This campus perfectly illustrates the convergence between innovative real estate and industrial sovereignty, and reflects our desire to expand our areas of activity to new uses and types of assets as part of our diversification strategy.” – Christel Zordan, Chief Executive Officer of Société de la Tour Eiffel.

Our ambition is to offer start-ups and nanotechnology manufacturers a platform that is unique in Europe, enabling them to de-risk and industrialise their technological innovations more quickly.” – Julien Lalanne, Managing Director and co-founder of iXcampus.
