Société de la Tour Eiffel acquires the Bellefond building in Paris 9th from Foncière Renaissance
Société de la Tour Eiffel is consolidating its presence in Paris and has announced the acquisition from Foncière Renaissance of a 1,325 sqm building located at 37 rue de Bellefond in the heart of this dynamic area featuring tech company headquarters, restaurants, shops, services, apartments and tourist destinations, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.
This 17th century building, certified BREEAM Very Good, has been completely remodelled and is entirely leased under a long-term lease to Morning Coworking, a major player in the coworking industry, which already operates around forty locations in Paris and Neuilly-sur- Seine.
The five-storey building offers a large outdoor terrace, a reception room, parking spaces and other spaces designed to meet the expectations of users. Located less than 15 minutes from three major Parisian train stations (Gare du Nord, Gare de l’Est and Saint Lazare) and within five minutes of two metro lines, it boasts excellent accessibility.
“We are delighted to announce the acquisition of this building with real historical character located in the heart of the capital city. The deal illustrates our determination to continuously improve the quality of our portfolio, as indicated in our roadmap. It reflects the reorientation of our portfolio towards secured assets located in central urban areas, attractive to our tenants and their talents” said Christel Zordan, Chief Executive Officer of Société de la Tour Eiffel.
“The Bellefond deal marks a turning point in the history of Foncière Renaissance, with the implementation of our value-add strategy. After 48 Provence, this remodelling symbolises our know-how in repositioning out-dated assets to meet new user needs and environmental challenges. We are particularly proud of this project, which sh wcases Parisian architecture” said Julien Laclie, Associate Director of Foncière Renaissance.
